La Finca Campix está situada dentro de lo que se denomina Parque Regional de Sierra Espuña, en la provincia de Murcia; pertenece a los términos municipales de Alhama de Murcia y Totana.
El Parque se caracteriza en su paisaje vegetal por una mayoría de pinar de repoblación, siendo esta repoblación la primera que se hizo en España.
Las principales especies de pino son el Carrasco, el Rodeno y el Negral.
El encinar se encuentra muy reducido apareciendo a partir de 700 metros de altitud (la finca Campix se encuentra a unos 800 m.), formando bosques mixtos con el pinar.
El sotobosque está formado por especies características del matorral del Mediterráneo como la Coscoja, el Enebro, el Lentisco, ...
Las viejas zonas de cultivo enclavadas dentro de la Sierra nos permiten encontrar Nogales, Fresnos y Almendros.

En cuanto a la fauna, como especies se encuentra aclimatado y muy implantado desde hace años, el Arrui -antílope importado del Atlas- , el Jabalí y el Gato Montés.
La diversidad de ambientes acoge una fauna rica y variada. En el pinar encontramos entre otras la Ardilla de Espuña, el Azor, el Búho Real, la Culebra Bastarda. Ascendiendo a las cumbres encontramos el Águila Real.

located about 800 m.), forming mixed forests with the pine forest.

understory is composed of species characteristic of the Mediterranean maquis of
the Mediterranean as the kermes oak, Juniper, mastic...
The
old growing areas located within the Sierra allows us to find walnut trees, ash
trees and almond trees.
As for the fauna, species is acclimatized and very implanted for years, the Barbary sheep -Antelope imported from the Atlas -, wild boar and wild cat.
The diversity of environments is home to a rich and varied fauna. In the pine forest we find among other Espuña squirrel, owl, goshawk, Culebra Bastarda. Climbing to the peaks we find the Golden Eagle.
